Sebeccly Mastectomy Initiative (SMI)

The cost of cancer treatment is very high. Most cancer patients cannot afford their treatment, especially underprivileged women. One of the crucial aspects of cancer patient’s treatment is a mastectomy (breast surgery). Most of these women who can’t afford this tend to delay in having this surgery done at the right time when needed. This leads to the spread of this disease to other parts of the body. In our bid to ensure that cancer patients have access to affordable treatment and reduce the financial burden on them, Sebeccly launched the SMI in partnership with the General Hospital Lagos to provide free breast surgery to our cancer patients. Organizations such as Bristow Helicopters and Abraham Abiodun Balogun Foundation have donated to this cause.

  • We have provided free Breast surgery to 10 cancer patients.
  • Provided over 1,000 recovery care products such as breast prostheses, mastectomy bras, wigs, scarves, etc.
