Light Lagos Pink ™

In recognition of breast cancer awareness month (October), Sebeccly Cancer Care sponsors  her Light Lagos Pink campaign aimed at stimulating the interest and reminding Lagosians about the importance of early detection of breast cancer and also to support the fight against it.

LLP 2014 kicked off with an opening ceremony at Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island on the 3rd of October, 2014 The maiden edition of the Light Lagos Pink Campaign provided information and support to over 1 million people online, via phone conversations, cancer information booths, community events and expert publications . 6 billboards and banners were set up in 4 public parks decorated with the colour pink. The National theatre, Iganmu illuminated pink for 7 nights and over 20 media interviews were granted

At Light Lagos Pink 2014 we were able to raise funds to support and strengthen access to cancer care through our Sebeccly Chemo and Radiotherapy Access Initiative in Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi Araba and Sebeccly Mastectomy Initiative in General Hospital Lagos.
